Aylmer® Accents® Spicy Red Pepper
+ Basil + Cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can Aylmer® Accents® Petite Cut Tomatoes with Spicy Red Pepper (540 mL)
- 1 pkg fresh or frozen potato gnocchi (500 g)
- Fresh Italian parsley or basil,
- chopped Parmesan cheese
- Cook onion and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered while preparing gnocchi. Add cooked gnocchi to tomato sauce.
- Stir gently and sprinkle with parsley or basil. If desired, top with cheese.
