Quick Butter Chicken

Aylmer® Accents® Original Chunky

+ Chicken + Butter + Cilantro

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tbs. tandori paste
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 can Aylmer® Accents® Chunky Original tomatoes (540 ml.)
  • 2 tbs. Thai red curry paste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup heavy cream Fresh cilantro

Directions:

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and toss with 1 tablespoon tandori paste and 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste.
  2. Sautee in butter for 5 minutes, then remove chicken and reserved liquids.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon tandori paste, 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste, tomatoes and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add chicken, yogurt and cream and simmer for 7 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  5. Serve over basmati rice, garnished with cilantro leaves.
